Job Description

Responsibilities:
- · Thoroughly testing game features and functionality.

· Completing all in-game missions and side-missions, possibly multiple times

· Identifying and reporting any software glitches

· Exploring different ways to approach the game, such as trying it with other in-game characters

· Playing the game for long periods to identify any issues that may arise

· Trying out different graphic settings to check system stabilities in varying load conditions

· Checking out in-game captions and menu titles to make sure they are coherent and easily understandable

· Playing the game with all difficulty levels

· Writing detailed reports on their findings

· Verbally communicating findings to the developers and product team members

· Providing feedback to developers on game balance and overall fun factor

· Reporting any stability issues

· test different levels and versions of a game

· Enter 'bugs' on a computer system, find the cause of faults and recommend improvements.

· Compare the game against other games on the market.

· Report copyright issues and check for spelling mistakes in the game, manuals and packaging

· Check a game's accessibility options.

· Work under pressure and to deadlines.

· Carry out any additional tasks as required to meet business needs.

Qualifications and Skills:

· A genuine passion for playing computer games

· Familiarity with software or game development process flow

· A good eye for detail to spot any inconsistencies or bugs

· Creative thinking to suggest possible improvement areas

· Excellent communication skills to communicate with the stakeholders

· Strong problem-solving skills

· Patience with playing the game for long hours and often repetitively

· Good organizational and time-management skills

· Proven experience in game testing or software quality assurance

· Proficiency in requirements gathering for test case creation

· Familiarity with JUnit, Debugging, Cucumber, Test automation, Ant, TFS, AWS, vaticinate, and MVC

· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

· Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

· Ability to work independently and meet deadlines efficiently

Education Requirements:

· High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

· Two to three years’ experience in the similar position.
